JOB TITLE: COMPONENT REBUILD CENTER TECHNICIAN
JOB PURPOSE: Repair engines within manufacturer's specifications in all phases of the process, disassembly, evaluation, parts request, assembly, testing and preparation.
EDUCATION: Bachelor or College education in Mechanical Engineering required. Experience of working as a heavy equipment technician having 1 or 2 years of working experience or completed the Apprenticeship Program.
QUALIFICATION & RELEVANT WORKING EXPERIENCE:
- Must have high technical and mechanical understanding and aptitude.
- Ability to implement the job individually and with the team.
- Engines rebuild and operation
- The ability to use hand and diagnostic tools
- The ability to diagnose engine problems
- Hand working skill
- Suitable knowledge of English for perfect understanding CAT System documentation, spoken is advantage
- Inspection, quality, and service reports
- Experience in mining equipment component reconditioning, particularly large diesel engines at least 5 years
- Experience in mine maintenance at least 3 years in mine site
- Competent in Mine safety
- Available to work in mine site
- User level computer skill
- Must be a self-starter, honest and trustworthy.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company information
